New best friend

So I discovered a new best friend today. I am sure everyone that is anyone already has met....White Vinegar? Well I hadn't really before today! Well I decided to clean my washing machine which was in dire need of cleaning, and googled it and vinegar was the answer. And boy was it the answer. I have tried in the past with other cleaner and it never really sparkled or felt clean but after today it is SPARKLING! :) Just thought I would share my excitement!

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was really low key and enjoyable. We spent it at Colleen and Eli's had some wonderful food. Celebrated Corbins birthday again. Played catch phrase. Mom was definatley the "Winner". Ha! I love family and have a lot to be thankful for.

I was lucky enough to help Colleen with my favorite little guys birthday party. She did a Transformer Party! It was a blast but kinda crazy keeping track of all the kids. Corbin is so social and had so many kids.

I just love Corbin he is so much fun and so much boy. Im glad he has trained me on what these "boys" are all about. Happy Birthday little guy love ya!

Thankful!

I just wanted to take a minute on this last day of November and reflect on what I am thankful for. I realize people have been doing this all month long. But late is better then never right?

First of all I am thankful for family and that mine is Eternal it is such a blessing to have a good family. And I blessed to have sisters that are my best friends and I can turn to for anything and we all share a testimony of the gospel. My parents are also so amazing they are the most giving people ever they do so much for us and support us in all things. My husband is also so amazing I look at all he has to deal with from me and I just think "how does he do it". I am so stubborn and want things my way and he is so patient and understanding and deals with me and my craziness.

The gospel. I have my weakness like we all do. And the gospel and Heavenly Father are always there to help love and support me and forgive all my wrong doings. I am so thankful for the feeling I get when I pray to Heavenly Father and I feel his comfort and I know things will all work out through him and his son.

All other blessings I have. I seriously have the best friends in the world and so thankful for long lasting relationships. I am thankful for a home. And I am extremely thankful for being pregnant. It seriously has been such a trial for the last few years with infertility and then all the sickness I have endured while being pregnant. But I wouldn't ever take back even a moment of it. I have my Friends and family who have struggled with similar issues and I cant help but think of how blessed I have been. I pray for those who are struggling with infertility and with adoption that they can soon receive there own special little blessing.

I truley have so much to be thankful for!!

Halloween

This year Halloween was pretty low key. But that was okay we really enjoyed just relaxing. We first hit up the ward trunk or treat. Where all my nephews that are here stopped by and I could gush over how cute they are. Serious check out Luke the chicken below and how can you not love that boy. We then went to visit papa and gma and take corb and luke to the "scary houses" in my parents neighbor hood.

Then we headed over to the in laws for some pizza. After that we decided to head home to feed the trick or treaters for a hour or so. Then we visited with some friends. It was a good night. Happy Halloween 2011!!!

Last night I didn't sleep hardly because of nausea, woke up with a big old cold sore in the middle of my nose, allergies galore, and not being able to keep anything down today. All these things makes for a tired worn out Jamie. But I just reminded myself that I asked for this I prayed for this. And man am I so grateful that I can experience these miseries so I can have what I have waited so long for. I love my baby! And its the size of a sweet potato today! Love it!

This year for Labor Day weekend Colleen invited us to join them up at Whitney. Me and Mike could only go up Saturday night after work. So we packed up and headed out. It was kinda a rough night we ended up stopping in Evanston to clean up Jax he got car sick on the way up. So we got up to camp late and Tacoma hand anxiety all night I wash freezing and slept a total of about an hour. I thought it was going to be a rough next day. But it was actually really enjoyable. See the pictures! :)

So last week Mike and I attended our long anticipated appointment. Where we were expecting to find out what our little peanut is. Our appointment the time before the doctor teased at it maybe being a boy but made no promises! So we were really excited for this day to come.... but NOPE we got a stubborn stink that would not let us get a peak. So now we wait 4 more weeks. Ugh! Oh well I remind myself to have patience and that I am just thankful to be getting a little stink! :)

Cry myself a river

I'm feeling like a hum bug today. I dont know if it just pregnancy hormones or what. But does anyone ever feel like they just don't fit? I was looking around at church yesterday it seems everyone has friends and social groups to sit with and me and mike spend everyone sunday hunting for a different place to sit. Also at work my closest friends have quit in the past two years and now I feel I come to work and have no real social outlet. I just feel like I'm in a rut. I would love to move or get a new job. But doubt it will be happening soon. So I guess I will just "cry myselft a river" for now :). I am very thankful for family and my closest friends! Just wish I could have a ward I loved and a job I love.

Fourth of July

On the forth we hit up the good old North Ogden Parade. Then that night had the annual family party up at my aunts house. It was a mad house! Kiddos we cute runnning around like crazy. Then we parked our chairs in the front yard and watched Weber High fireworks.

I was excited that dad broke out his good old cowboy hat! Love it

Michael and I celebrated our fourth anniversary this week. Its crazy to reflect back on life four years ago and how young we were and how forgein everything was. But we have grown together and dealt with trials together. And have grown so much stronger then I thought was possible. I am thankful for these trials that have built our testimony of eternal marriage. I am also extremely thankful that we made the choice to be sealed together for eternity. Love ya babe.

So I have been kinda bummed I haven't been blogging much (because no pictures to help document the fun=boring) the last few months. The main reason for this is my little Canon point and shoot has been giving me many issues. So I have been debating if I wanted to get another little powershot camera or upgrade to a DSLR which I have drooled over for years. Me and Mike decided for our Anniversary present slash upcoming birthdays and other hoildays we would get ourselves the Nikon D3100. It was such a rush making this purchase. But I am so excited for it and hopefully we can post so nice pictures in the future. Now we just need a new computer!!! :) Is it not pretty? Now if anyone has tips on how to use this bad boy. Please advise!!! :)

GIRLS NIGHT OUT!! Two weeks ago we were able to do a girls night out. It was really enjoyable. Holly and Lori were in town. And Holly and Keeno ditched their kiddos for the night. We got a condo up in Midway. We ate way to much food and spent way to much $$ shopping in Park City. It was really fun spending time with my Mom and Sisters! Oh also Colleen and Holly made this killer dessert (pictured below) fruit nachos! Yum! Dont judge my pictures my camera is out of commission so these are stolen from my sisters blog.

I never really anticipated how crazy it would be with two pups. Boy they are so busy. But seriously are so much fun!! Jax cracks me up! His favorite thing to do is to sit on Tacoma. I don't think its her favorite!

He is the best little snuggler, but kinda picky if its not on his terms he throws little tantrums!

This is seriously what they do like 22 hours in a day. Wrestle. They will be totally calm and cute outside then when they come in they just want to play.

They each have there own bone. But thats no fun. So they fight/wrestle for one!

Snuggle time! NOT typical I don't usually allow them on furniture but how can you resist these cute faces!!

These kids are growing up so stinking fast. Tacoma is Huge and Jax is getting so big. I heart these little monsters!

Conference Weekend!

Why I am so excited!!!..... Well to be completely honest I need some spiritual up liftment. I feel like life has been such a downer lately. We should just rename me Debbie Downer! And here is why.... I've spoke to a few people lately that agree that the "Blog World" is so superficial. Everyone talks about how great their kids are and how wonderful and perfect their husbands are and how they have the best callings! I think its all a show!! It s big fat "my life is perfect show". I want to hear about the hard times the screaming kids the husband that didn't get the garbage out and forgot to mail the power bill the callings were people failed to do their duties and now everything lies on your shoulders. This is the REAL WORLD PEOPLE!!! I will be the first to admit my life is far from perfect. I love my husband but he isn't perfect either. I love my calling but most days I hope to be released. And kids?? To everyone who asks me EVERY SINGLE DAY when I plan to start having kids?...... HERE Is the truth.... CLOSE TO TWO YEARS AGO! Okay!!! Life is not easy going in my neck of the woods I feel like any little triumph I have I work 10 times harder than any one else. So back to Conference weekend. I hope I can have a soft heart and learn some valuable lessons. I pray that if anyone reads this takes no offense but realises that everyone around them no matter how perfect their life's seem is fighting some kind of battle. When I speak with friends and family I feel like I have the better end of the deal in trails. But when my head hits that pillow at night my heart begs to differ. So I pray for myself and all of you that don't have the "perfect life" that conference will bring hope and understanding of our trails to our hearts.

Florida with the Gma

At the end of January I was lucky enough to tag along last minute with Lou to Florida. Mainly because I'm her favorite.....I mean she didn't want to fly alone. It was such a fun relaxing trip. And boy do I love my Hayd and Hads!! Love these buggers!

So one night we treated ourselves to girls night out and went to this Polynesian restaurant were they did a cool show and danced with fire and almost started the place on fire twice!!!

We also hit up the Gator Park again. I was a pretty chilly day. Holly had done the tour quite a few times so me and mom hit it up with Hayden.

We hit up the state park. LOTs of Gators here!!

One day we decided to hit up the gulf coast and headed out for Forty Meyers. Part of the drive there was awesome there were so many wild gates kickin it on the shore line of the rivers.

We hit up this fruit stand/store it was so cool they had all they free samples of pure juice and oranges, grapefruit and other citrus fruits. We also hit up the ice cream!!

Hadley was such a mooch she had to have everybodys juice, ice cream or anything else we were eating!

We also hit up Sanibel Island it was so pretty!! We saw dolphins and went sea shelling on the beach. We got some good shells!!

We then hit up Naples we went to this neat park were they give you rides on golf carts down to the beach on this walkway that is through a swampy area so beautiful.

Meet Jax or Jaxi or Jaxers!! He is new to our family. We adopted him from a shelter he is a Border Collie/German shorthair. We do love him so much. And he is growing like a weed! This was his first bath. He was a little stinker!! Tacoma and Jax are such good friends they play from sun up to sun down and are so annoying together but I love it!!

Rodizio Grill and Family

So Im blogging like ten years after the fact like usual....
Back in December while Holly and Dr Dan were in town we had a date night. We decided to "Go big or Go home" and hit up Rodizio Grill. This was Mike and I's first visit. It was fun and interesting. But I dont think it was quite worth the $$$. The guys liked it though.

After dinner we hit up temple squares lights it was so pretty! I havent been in a few years and man I forgot how wonderful that place is.

We attempted to go to a movie at the Joseph Smith Building but had missed it. Below is my zombie sister Holly doing who knows what???

So after temple square we decided though we were stuffed we really really wanted Ice Cream. So we attempted every place we could think off from SLC to Ogden and every place had closed at ten or had shut down completly. But dont you worry after about an hour of looking and driving we hit up good old Jakes Over the Top!!

For those of you who dont know my sister Holly she is CRAZY and her crazy rubs off on others just look at these pictures she cracks me up!!

It was an enjoyable night to get away with my sisters (Minus Lori who ditched us) with out any kiddos!!!

This last December was the Judds "Final Encore Tour" Us sisters (and we dragged ma along for fun) decided that because we are DIE HARD Judd fans we would splurge on tickets.!!! It seriously was so fun. We were complete dorks jamming out to "Love can build a bridge".... Don't you think its time? and "Grandpa tell me about the good old days".

Just an FYI these Judd ladies are completely nuts especially that Naomi!!! Oh how I heart her! Im not really sure if she even sang.. But she has got some steller moves.

PS Wynonna is AMAZING I think she is gorgeous and has an awesome voice.

Dinner/Slumber Party

Last week I invited the whole fam over for dinner and dessert. It a little bit crazy with 7 adults and 4 kiddos in our tiny house. But so much fun. The best part was we did dirt cups for dessert for the kids and they were covered in chocolate after. See the damage below. Hadley even ended up with some on her head!! :) After Holly and her kids stayed the night for a slumber party. I was WILD huh holls?!! :) It was so fun to spend time with her and her kiddos. The next day I had taken off work. It was so nice to sleep in and relax. We made a banner and cupcake flags for hadleys Birthday. ( Soon to be posted )

I seriously love, adore, and cherish all these kiddos they are the sweetest spirits and so much fun!!!

So I know it has been over two months since our Florida trip but I feel like if I don't document some of the things we did me and my "Lou Ann Memory" will forget :) Love ya Ma!! So one day we went to see the Gators it was such a fun day! We went to the everglades and checked out an air boat tour. It was so relaxing and we saw lots of gators big and babies! The kiddos did awesome on the trip as well.

This was a national park that you could walk around amongst the gators. During gator season when the water is low there are hundreds of gator in these canals. Crazy!! It was scary walking so close to gators!! They could snap you in half!!!

Right after we had gone to all the parks it started pouring rain. You could hardly see the road. We seriously lucked out! The drive home was like an hour and a half in the rain so we decided to just get Wendy's drive threw on the way home. They started giving us our food and then gave mike part of the change but only the dollar bills so we were waiting for our other 70 cents or so. And started handing us more bags then mike finally asked for the rest of our change. As we got back on the road we started handing out food and they had given us a bonus of like 5 chicken nuggets and hamburgers it was so funny!!!

Friday before Halloween I had my favorite girlfriends and their families over for pizza and pumpkin craving! We always have fun together. The night ended on an old time favorite game "Would you rather" Soo... Would you rather eat 20 dead spiders or 40 live caterpillars? Huh? :)

Jazz Game

Last week Michael and I were given some Jazz tickets from friend. And since I have only ever been to one game when I was like ten. We decided to go. It was a really fun date night we headed down to the Gateway for dinner then over to the game. The game its self was a blow out the Jazz really struggled so that was a bummer. But the experience was a blast.

So funny story. Mikes brother Ryan and his wife LOVE the Jazz. They have multiple matching Jazz shirts that they wear all the time. So me and Mike decide to be silly and buy matching Tshirts to be like them. And we wore them to Sunday dinner. When we walked in everyone in Mikes family knew what we were doing and all started laughing at us. Ryan and Sherry were so excited that we had Jazz shirts on!!! :)

While in Florida we got to go to such a wonderful place... Jaxon's Ice Cream Parlor. This place was so awesome! You could literally get a sink full of ice cream (it also cost and arm and a leg). We splurged and got two to share. Holly and Dan got some chocolate suicide ice cream a little to rich for me. Mike and I got a sampler of three different flavors man was it good.... Hayden I think enjoyed it the most he didn't want anything to do with his mom and dads ice cream. But loved sharing/hogging with Uncle Mike! He was so cute check out the pictures of the kid digging in!!! This place was excellent but only a once in a great while treat. It could put you in a sugar coma! :)

Deep Sea Fishing

Second We went deep sea fishing. It was really fun! But not very successful. It was so cool though our bait was like these six inch long fish. They said it was a bad day of fishing. I think five people in our group caught something. Dan was one of them. ( Again Dan has pictures of his fish) IT was this huge long grey fish that had a flat suction head that would stick to you hand or the boat kinda cool!!! It was a gorgeous day and of course pasty white me got burnt. Lucky the inside had A/C that is where Holls and the kiddos hung out most the time!!

Welcome to Miami (bienvendio a Miami)!!

Okay. Really we only went to Miami once. But you can't help but get the silly song stuck in your head.

Michael and I were really blessed to be the first to go visit my sister Holly and her family in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. It was really so much fun! I will break up the trip by putting some of the events/pictures on separate posts.

First We will start with the flight. I hate flying I get extremely anxious with take off and landing. Also I don't sleep on planes. So it can make for a really long flight. Our first flight was just a quick one to Vegas. Where there was a cursing brawl between old people in front and behind us in line to board the plane. It was definitely sketchy. I really didn't know old people could be so crude and mean. So I was really nervous we end up next to the grouches on the plane but lucky we made some friends with another couple (they were in their fifties) They were so much fun we talked the whole 4 1/2 hour flight and played Yahtzee and Michael and I won $1 for winning Yahoo... Right? Ha I was stoked about it.

The first day in Florida we went on a snorkel and boat ride. It was such a nice day and so much fun. It was the first time Holly, Dan and Mike had ever been snorkeling. I think they had alot of fun! These are just the pictures of the boat ride. Holly and Dan have all the picture on their camera of us snorkeling.

Mike was the best at snorkeling he could dive down to the bottom of the reef and get a closer look. The rest of us kept trying but all we would get is a mouth full of that tasty salt water. Or if your Dan you just kick your feet at the surface of the water! :)

Whitney Reservoir

This past weekend we hit up the Unitas to do some camping. We stayed at Whitney Reservoir it was so nice. We got in really late Friday night and it was the start of the Bow hunt and we definitely lucked out and found our selves a nice little camp spot. If you have ever been up there. You know that they are not regulated camp grounds which is so nice. We brought all our dogs and they had so much room to run and play. Tacoma was in puppy heaven. And if we locked her up for even a minute she was crying like a baby to get out and play. We did some fishing Mike even made it up there after work late on Saturday to catch a tiger trout he has been dreaming about! :) Pictures of the fun and dirt!

Seriously isn't she so cute! I heart her so much. She just loves her little pool. She is finally growing up a little we can now leave things like the hose and her pool in the yard with them unattended and she doesn't destroy them. I'm so proud of her! :)

She is such a little trooper also. My dog gets allergies... yes allergies strange I KNOW. But on Tuesday afternoon her eye was a little swollen so we gave her benadryl and it went down. But after that I noticed under her a eye there was a bump. But it didn't really look like allergies but I continued to give her benadryl and it continued to get bigger. It was hard and becoming pretty large. So Thursday afternoon I decided to bite the bullet and take my girl to the vet. (I'm usually a stickler about taking her to the Dr. because she usually gets better and I don't want to waste $$ the vet is expenSIVE) Anyway. I am glad I did this time because she has cracked her large canine in the back and it causing inflammation and infection all the way up her roots. OUCH right. So now she is on antibiotics and pain killers. But that's not all, she now has to get surgery to have her tooth extracted or it will continue to cause infections. All in all im glad she will be okay but it is going to cause a big hole in our pockets!!!

June and the First of July have been a blast with our family. We were blessed to have Holly Dan and their kiddos come for a few weeks in between their move to Florida. And Lori came in to party for the week of the fourth. I was such a bum and didn't take a lot of pictures so here is an over load of the two days I did take pictures. We had so much fun we went to dinners, Spoon Me, had water fights, games night, ran in bear lake, played wii, played games, went to twilight, had bbq's, made blankets, did fire works made crafts.... you name it we probably did it. I miss my sisters it was so fun to have them here I can't wait till next time. PS don't mind this first picture of me I had been attacked by a garden hose :) PSS I just love my niece and nephews they are so fun and cute! I could just eat them up!

The Bear Lake Half Marathon.......

Okay the title of this post is a little deceiving. My sisters Holly and Colleen and my brother in law Eli ran the Bear Lake Half Marathon and Mike and I ran the 10k. I wish I could run a half marathon. But considering I didn't run the whole 10k I think I should train some more ( I didn't train for this at all ops..). This was a really fun event for our family. It was a rainy cold weekend. But the clouds cleared for just long enough for our run. Mike did so awesome he ran it in 1 hour 2 minutes and me.... we'll lets just say I didn't come in last :) I made a cute old lady friend and we jogged it together. I wish I would of had my camera for more pictures. But this will have to do considering I stole it from Colleens blog! I love my family and am so glad we could do something like this together. Me and Lori are doing the Cherry Days 5k and maybe I will train for it the next two weeks and do a little better! Wish me luck!

Today is Mike and I's third wedding anniversary! Crazy how time flys but even crazier that I feel like we have always been together I can't remember life with out him. I can't image it now without him. He is the best husband and we learn so much from eachother everyday! I look back at some of our pictures from three years ago and we look so young ( mostly Mike he looks twelve :) ) So crazy how much we have grown in three years! This Memorial Day we decided to do a little fishing trip up to Lost Creek! It started out a little windy but ended perfectly! I love being able to just relax and enjoy those that I love. I was really excited for Mike he has been fishing a few times this spring with friends but has yet to catch any fish! But this trip he got two and a cradad (crab thing)! I think that is SUCCESS! :)

California Road Trip!

The last week in April we were able to go on a 9 day road trip with all of Mikes family. It was fun to have everyone there and see so many things. But... I don't suggest a road trip across California with so many people. It did get a little tiresome driving so much and the freeways are a joke. But we really did have so much fun. The cities we visited were Elko NV, Sacramento, San Fransisco, San Hose, Ocean Side, San Diego, and Las Vegas. There were some many things we did. A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to take a break for "real world" and go visit two of my sisters. It was really so fun! I can't believe that this long anticipated trip has already come and gone! I flew into Indiana and stayed for a few days with Lori and Jen. We went to Indianapolis Zoo and some garden place were butterflies flew all around you! They also took me shopping and to some awesome restaurants! OH and Lori also showed me where she banked!! :)

Lori and Jen then drove me up to Columbus to visit Holly and Dan. Us girls played for a few days! Holly and Dan took us to Graffiti Burger... OH my gosh best hamburger ever! All the girls made headbands and bows! (well I was the glue and cutting slave I'm not talented enough for the flowers) We went to gallery hop one night and saw some pretty cool art and shops. Holly was ecstatic when she saw her local weather women up close and personal!! But got to nervous to ask for a autograph!! HA

I just have to say I seriously heart little Hayders!! He was so fun! He even was a model for our bows!! ...OH... Also Lori and Jen stayed till Sunday for Hadley's baby blessing. It was so neat to be there for her special day!!

We had tried to go to this water park on Saturday with everyone but Holls didn't see that are coupons were only good on weekdays..Ops! All is good. So Monday the Rudds and I headed to Coco Keys water park! It was so fun. They had slides and a lazy river and other fun things. Hayden just loved the water he even stepped into the deep end and we had to pull him out of the water and he was just laughing as he drank a gallon of water.

Don't you just love this girl! Ah I just want to eat her up! She was so stinking cute! I just love girls I am so glad we finally have one in the family! She is seriously just a doll!

Snowmobiling Weekend!

Two weekends ago we had the chance to go on an overnight snowmobiling trip with a couple from our ward. It was so fun I hadn't been since I was really young and Mike and never been. We got to this cute cabin late Friday night. And don't you worry it was about 10-15 degrees outside and the exact same temperature inside. You have to snowmobile up to the cabins and I was wearing jeans and tennis shoes... My socks were soaked and no place to get warm it to me a good three hours to warm up next to the fire once it got going. But after that I was good. I was lame and didn't take a lot of pictures. But it was so fun staying up late playing cards and the next day snowmobiling. I was a little to adventurous and tipped the snowmobile in 3 1/2 foot deep powder. I had to have Mike come save me. Here are the few pictures we do have.

It was so beautiful up there! And we all look like marshmallows. It was so fun to get to know friends better and enjoy some time away from the "real world."

Me and Mike actually went out this weekend. Since we have been married... actually even when we were dating we always stayed in Valentines weekend either to dodge the crowds or save $$$. But this year we decided to switch it up. We rented a condo in Midway for the night. It was so enjoyable to get away. We went to some ice castle palace across the road, went to dinner, and went swimming. The following day we headed out to Park City for shopping!!!

We decided to splurg on dessert! Isnt it beautiful...? Well it was nasty other then the fruit=bummer!

Dashboard Confessional Concert

So about a week ago we went to see Dashboard Confessional play on 25th. It was such a fun night for a few reasons. One they are Mike's all time favorite band, Two it was so close to home, Three we were so close to the stage and Last it was FREE and we all know I love anything free. But really it was so enjoyable. They had come to Utah back in November but the tickets were like $50 bucks or something and with Christmas we had decided to bag it. So this was just perfect for us. It was so cold that night but it was fun to enjoy music and friends.

The one thing I did not enjoy was the crowds of people. I know I am getting old when I can't stand the concert seen anymore. I like my own space. But it was so worth it. This is the lead singer Chris Carrabba it is Mikes " Man Crush". He is amazing!

A few fun events!!!

In the past month we have done a few fun things! It was my father in laws 60th birthday at the end of December. He is the nicest man ever he does everything for everyone and never gets recognized for all his good. So us kids decided he deserved a suprise party. We through him a party at Petersen Marine. It was so much fun. All his brothers and sisters can some from out town. And we did dinner games and Mike did a video. That was excellent. It was so fun and special to see how happy Ray was! He deserved it all.

Christmas Eve we ( me, mike and corbin ) decided to decorate ginger bread houses. Oh man I don't remember ever having such a hard time. Corbins ( 4 years old) train totally out did my house. It was really fun but I do admit almost crying when my roof caved and all the decor melted/slide of my house.

Christmas morning was so relaxed. It was so enjoyable. We played a little Christmas bingo. Corbin and Mike played really well together with there three cards for two people (CHEATERS). Corbin ate all the treats for the game. See the stash of candy wrappers. Silly kid. PS I totally one Bingo!

Some of Lori's friends planned a 30th Birthday dinner for her at Maddox. While she was in town. It was really fun but there is a reason I don't go there often. I eat like 5000 calories!!!

One of the MOST excited things to happy recently. Me and Mike got a dishwasher. This is the best thing we have done in such a long time. We had to customized our cabniets and plumb for it but with the help of my dad and friend Tommy. We are now so happy to dishes!! :)

Life has been so hectic lately. So I thought I would finally take a break and update the blog. I have always heard people talk about the holidays and how crazy busy they are. But I had never really experienced this "craziness" until this year. We have had so many things going on. Our ward redid the Elders Quorum a few months ago and put Mike in again this time as the first counselor. This new presidency is so good and they are doing so many amazing things. But taking so much time away from my family with visits and meetings, ugh!! Mike is also the sports director of our ward. And with basketball starting and meetings for that it is even more time away from me double ugh!! We have been crazy with our finals but as of last week we are done so some weight has been released off our shoulders. We have been busy with so many family birthday parties I think we have had five in the last four weeks and three coming up in the next two weeks!! We have also been so busy with work, ward Christmas parties, friend get togethers, baby blessings, shopping, and party planning. We were blessed to finally make it to the temple last week for the first time in months. We have been so bad. It felt so good to go back and remember why we love it so much and the blessings you receive with your faithfulness of going. The newest biggest thing that is causing my head to spin is. I got called into the bishops office a week ago. Thinking it was just a catch up/get to know you meeting, because we got a new bishopric a few weeks ago. Lets just say I wasn't that lucky! I got called in as the Primary President. AHHH! I'll be honest I am freaking out a little bit. I have been so lucky to have the easiest callings (Visiting teacher, Enrichment group leader, Compassionate Service) so far in my life. But never have I had such a big responsibility. I have never even serviced in primary. So lets just say I have been doing so much praying. Lets just hope I can some way some how make this work!!! Other than all this craziness! I really am excited for Christmas. And really excited for my first niece to be born!! Merry Christmas to all! Love Jamie

I am usually all about Halloween but this year Mike and I could not decide what we wanted to be until about an hour before it was time to leave the house. Ah stressful I tell you! And me I was a lame pirate that I have been two other years and Mike just put together basketball stuff. So all in all we are kinda lame. But it was a fun night my sister Holly and her cute little boy were in town so it was so fun to see all the nephews in costume. Eric and his girlfriend had a party at their house we had to run off to so we didn't get to party with the fam to much. Erics was fun but me ditsy humbug forgot to take pictures. They did all kinds of creepy food. That to be honest grossed me out! Ha! So here a few of the only pictures I took that night.

Ha! I think it's been a while since I have blogged! I feel a little over due! This summer/fall and been super busy but kinda lame over all mostly just business and chores! I lost my camera cord so I will have to post pictures later. Here is what we have been up to since July.

I guess its been a long time since I blogged/posted regularly. But I really only like posts with pictures and well my dear sweet husband a couple weeks ago had accidentally deleted all my pictures from the last month and a half without me uploading them so I lost all pictures of camping, the fourth, my sisters coming in from out of state, family events, house projects etc.... What a bummer huh? That's what I said! Ugh!

But here are a few recent happening that I do have pictures to document....

We are finally updating our "wonderful green carpet and glitter ceiling" I know our nephews will no longer be able to sit and count the "stars." This is the Mayhem what we are currently living in. Projects move so stinking slow. Am I the only one who feels this way?

We went camping this weekend with our friends Ryan and Jessica and their friends Chelsie and Brandon. It was a lot of fun and nice to get away to somewhere different and just relax!! With good company!

So I have been a lame blogger lately. Probably cause life has been just so busy but with lame things like work and home projects. But last week I was really excited me and Colleen made Strawberry freezer jam. It was so easy I loved it I feel like a domestic house wife!! :) Even Corbin joined in on all the fun he was a great help and took the only picture of us so excuse the fingers he is just learning :) A couple weeks ago I also made baby blanket for one of my best friends. It also turned out pretty well, alot of work and frustration maybe a few curse words ha jk! But I am excited to do more in the future!!

Update on Relay for Life

I just wanted to do a quick update on the Relay for Life. It ended up a great success our team had the highest donations. Thank you so much to my family and friends who helped support this event by donating. You are all so great!
It was kinda a chilly night Tacoma, Mike and I took our shift walking in the relay from midnight until two a.m. We joked about us being so young and crazy staying out so late! It was fun getting out and doing something good for others. I hope I have the opportunity to do more things like this event in the future. Here are a few pictures of the work team members.

Finally blogging...Random!

So its has been forever since I have done an actual post and to be quite honest life has been pretty uneventful and for the fun things that have happened I have been slacking on using my camera. But for a few random events I do have picture for (I think posts without pictures arent much fun) here ya are!

This is our spare bedroom it used to have wonderful 70s green carpet. And we decided it would be fun to refinish the hard wood under it. I has been a lot of work and head ache. We sanded it good, and things were looking great until we started staining and that's what happened in the second picture on the bottom Blotching!! AHHH! So frustrating and so we are re sanding and in the process of just sealing it back to its natural color on the top. Wish us luck!

This is us at the Union Station with Corby at the train show it was so much fun. Corby just loved all the trains and never wanted to stop. Mike was right there with him he just like a little boy too.

We also went to the college rodeo with Ryan and Jessica. It was alot of fun. But Mike wouldn't let me dress up as a cowgirl so I just got to wear my jean jacket... lame huh? :)

Last weekend we had my friends over for dessert/game party. For Tommy's birthday! It was so much fun I love my friends and we never fail to have a good time. We stayed up till 3:30 I haven't stayed up that late since high school and I could feel it the next day when I didn't roll out of bed til 11:00 ha ha!! :)

Last week was G Pa's Birthday too. I love my dad he is so great and does so many things for others while sacrifices his time and neglecting his own needs. He is so great! Love ya Pa!!!

I just need to vent a little, the more and more I think about the fact that Dane went home this week. The more MAD I get. He deserved to be there and he was pulling big numbers for his team and he was such a nice guy. Why didn't Ron go home who was just bringing his team down. I really hate that I am so drawn into this show. And am emotionally attached to the players. I know its bad when I find my self bawling when people get sent home or do really well. We are getting closer to having our bathroom done! I am so excited we finally got the shower done and it is really nice and it is amazing to have a full sized shower with a tub upstairs. We still are waiting on the vanity and tile to repaint but we did get our doors which turned out really nice. One day.... ONE DAY I will fill like I don't live in the 60s anymore!!! :) It has been an adventure to work on our little house and a lot of work, we still have so much to do. I have been thinking a lot about my life and the wonders that happen everyday. And how much I really have to be thankful for. I have a problem were I look at other peoples life's and look at their worldly possessions and idolize them. But when I stop and slow down I come to realize how special my life is, and everything I have, and everyone I know I am truly so blessed in so many ways. I just want to express my gratitude for those things in my life.

My wonderful husband that I love so very much

My sisters who act as my best friends and shoulders to laugh and cry on

My actual best friends that I have had since 5th grade they are the best

One of my new years resolutions was to try to see something good in all things in all conflicts and trials. Some things will be easier to see good in then other but there is a lot of good in this world that goes unrecognized every day. I hope we can all count are many blessing!

Holiday Activities

The past month has been so much fun for me and Mike preparing for Christmas and a New Year. We were so lucky to have all our family around for the holidays, both Holly and Lori got to come home for a couple weeks and play. We did so many fun things from pizza parties, craft nights, game nights, going to see lights, played wii, made desserts, Karaoke, snow tubing to bowling! We really had so much fun and it was such a blast to hang out with the newest addition to the family little hayders! He is so cute and has the sweetest little personality. We are so sad to see everyone go! But very thankful for the visit.

We are so thankful for the celebration of Christmas a time to reflect back on Christs birth and all he has done for us and remind us all of the charity he gave and how we should do the same. Not only during this holiday season but all year long!!

Snowtubing don't worry keen is the only crazy one who gets ready to play in the snow!!!Mike was so good with Corbin he would go on the tube with him and then push in him in the tube back up the hill and as soon as he got to the top Corby would be ready to go again!!

Monday night my dad took the family out for a treat. We headed down to Heber City to ride the heber creeper. It was themed for the Polar Express. It was a fun night they take you to the north pole and eat cookies and drink hot chocolate with singing carols. And Santa even comes! Okay it was really themed more for the entertainment for childern but me and Mike were entertained just as much as the four year old kids! :) It was fun to spend time with the family and to get into the spirit of Christmas! Grandpa passed away Sunday morning at the ripe age of 87. It was hard to let go of someone we loved so much. But I was very thankful for the time we had with him the last few days after he suffered from a stroke Thursday night. He was such an enjoyable man who never complained. He was even in good spirits in the hospital joking about getting on the fun bus and heading down to Wendover! I loved my grandpa so much he was such a great guy with many wonderful memories of him sneaking us treats out of his freezer and candy dish when mom was looking. I also remember grandpa always had raisins for me in his front pocket whenever I can to visit him as a child. He dealt with so many hardships in his life and yet never showed his grief to anyone. He was such a wonderful example and I am so grateful for the plan of salvation knowing that we will be and eternal family is such a comfort and makes these kinds of events bearable and almost joyful for the reunion that is going on in heaven. Love you Grandpa hope you are having so much fun with your wonderful wife!

I just thought with my lack of posts due to uneventful couple of weeks. I would update the status of my humpty dumpty hubby. He has now recovered 100% from his accident. Even is bloody eyes are now pearly white ... thank goodness ( they were really gross to look at ) I am so glad that he came out with no major issues. I am also glad that I am no longer receiving comments from people of me taking a bat, pan, fist.... etc to my husbands face. I'm happy he is feeling better and also I am not an abusive wife other than a good smack to his arm now and then from teasing me! : )

Halloween!!!

This year for Halloween Colleen and Eli talked me into having a Halloween party at my house. I was really against it at first but in the end I agreed. Still being kinda newly weds me and Mike have next to nothing for Halloween decorations so thanks mom, colleen, and Brett & Missy for sharing. It turned out to be a pretty fun night in my opinion. We served soups and rolls and the rest was potluck. We had a Christmas Pinata that aunt oie had made for party last year and never used, Dad took the cake and beat the thing down. We also had a donut contest for the couples that ended in like a three way tie. We did the limbo which Katie won but Colleen Emily and Hailey gave her a good run for her money. We danced the night away and ended with some good old stir the mush. There was also a costume contest I wish everyone could have won but there wasn't enough prizes. Me and Colleen should have won the overall best but we were exempt because we were the judges. But we worked really hard on our costumes, made our own tutus and shoes and the whole spill. Eli however did win a prize due to the fact that he shaved his head like an old grandpa for his costume. Some peoples kids!! :) Happy Halloween Y'all.

Mike and I have done few halloween activities this past week. Which included taking Corbin to a Halloween carnival at the Univerisity which ended up kinda lame but Corbin still seemed to enjoy himself in the blow up castel and playing with his sword balloon. Then that night Eli, Colleen, Corbin, Mike and I went up to the Park were they have put on a free spook alley ever since I can remember. This year it had grown quite a bit the line was an 1 1/2 long. They had movies playing and free hot coco. It was really fun. I think ( well I know) that I got more scared they even little Corbin. Then for FHE with Mikes family we carved pumpkins, it was really fun. Mike and Eric were very creative carving DC and the Monster sign in theirs, Good job guys!

This last week me and Mike headed to Ohio to visit Holly and Dan and their new little addition Hayden. It was so fun to see a different part of the country it was my first time going that far east. It is so weird to not have any mountains around I got lost so easy. It was a very pretty place the leaves were changing and just gorgeous. We had so much fun visiting them we did lots of fun stuff like went to the Zoo, saw the huge college campus, went to the north market, mini golf, and went to kirtland. Kirtland was really cool. Seeing the start of the restoration of the gospel was really neat. My favorite part was standing in the very room of the school of prophets that heavenly father and Christ had appeared. It was an amazing spirit.

Last night Mike came home from church ball with a battle wound. His nose was already huge and swollen from being kicked in the nose, yes kicked in the nose at basketball! I guess a guy made a dive for the ball and rolled over and his foot went flying right in the path were Mikes nose was. I felt so bad for him. He got up at two thirty this morning to use the bathroom and passed out. But he hasnt complained or cryed like I would have. He looks like he got beat up pretty good. I was tagged by Colleen a while ago and me being a lazy bum has put it off. So I guess I'm supposed to say a few things people don't know about me. Lets see how many people I can put to sleep!! :) Here goes.

1. I have a really strange personality that even I don't understand. I love people and to interact with others and have good long conversations and just generally be around good company. But at the same time if I see someone I know I run and hide. Like at the grocery store or the mall I am ducking behind clothes racks or running to an opposite isle. Confused? Ya me too. Mike gets so mad at me "If you like them why don't you just talk to them." Crazy me

2. I love games I am really competitive but I never win.

3. I love kids. Especially my nephews I could play with them all day but the best part is you send them home at night, and get to sleep through the night. I need my sleep or I get grouchy #1 fear of having children is losing my time, I know I'm kinda selfish.

4. I have a weird food allergy I hate. About five years ago I started have reactions to fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, peaches, pears, apples, celery, carrots, peas etc... and the reactions have gotten so bad I can't eat them without taking benadryl before hand. If I forget my lips and throat itches and and my throat can swell.

5. I love ice cream it is my true weakness.

6. I really like shoes I have so many but yet I only wear a select few. Same with purses. Oh and jewelry.

7. I love vaccum lines.

8. I really get into books. I get really attached to characters and want to become them.

9. As many already know I'm obessed with my dog. Tacoma boma is my baby.

10. I love to travel.

This last week we had a road trip to Seaside Oregon with Eric Brett Missy and little Max. We left at midnight on Tuesday night and drove straight through the night. We stopped at one little gas station around 4am and Brett and Missy went and got a few scratching lottery tickets. I was so excited I had never gambled in my life. So I got 2 dollars out of my wallet one for Mike and one for me. I went in and got my first lottery ticket and BANG I won one whole dollar so I got my dollar and got my second ticket and BANG $25 bones baby. I was stoked. I stopped while I was ahead :)!!! No one else won more then $2 so I was proud.

The Oregon Coast is gorgeous it really has a beauty of its own. So lush green and just packed with trees and the ocean was just beautiful (a little cold) Our condo was right on the beach and really nice. We saw so many things waterfalls, lighthouses, sea lions, seals, wales, beaches, big bridges, tillamook cheese factory. The sea lions were crazy in Astoria you go to the boat docks and they are just everywhere and they are huge they think they own the place. And they are so mean to eachother they make awful loud noises and push eachother of the docks it was so funny. Brett even tried to get close to one.... lets just say Bretts kinda a chicken. Mikes favorite part of the trip was Astoria itself were "The Goonies" was filmed we went and saw the goonie house and the county jail and mike got him an awesome goonie shirt! :) My hubby is like a little kid!! My favorite was the Tillamook cheese factory ice cream it was awesome!! After all the driving I was glad to come home but really enjoyed our trip. Thanks Brett and Missy for the fun trip.

So I know everybody thinks I'm crazy cause I blog about my dog so much. But this blog is kinda like a journal of events for me. And most people have kids they love, spoil and blog about but me I just have Tacoma so I love, spoil and blog about her. She serious keep us on our toes and I love her for that. She turned One on September first and me and Mike had this crazy idea that she should have a birthday party. So this last Saturday we had a puppy party. It was so much fun Tacoma was in puppy heaven. Oscar, Dylan and Maggie came to her party ( so glad the other two dogs didn't end up coming or it would have been a mad house ) All the dogs got party favors and bandannas they were so cute. We even made Tacoma a cake. She got a ton of presents more then I got on my birthday that is for sure. And now Tacoma thinks its her birthday everyday and can have whatever she wants, she is such a spoiled pup. It was and event to remember but not one to experience again ;) !!! Labor Day Camping

This weekend we took a little camping trip up to my dads property in Scare Canyon. It was only for one night. But very enjoyable. Friday night we arrived farely early considering every previous camping trip we always pulled up to the camp site after dusk. We actually could see where we were going. The camp site was covered in weeds knee high. Once we got settled in we had Hobo dinners that keen made for us they were excellent I must say. Then we made marsh mellows and I froze even next to the camp fire. The next day we went on a scenic drive and played cards and did some target shooting. It was fun to get away for a few days and enjoy nature. And the pups loved to run wild and they played so hard they were dead beat tired for two days after. Tacoma even hurt her leg playing so hard and had a allergy attack and broke out in hives and we had to drug her up with benadryl. But over all it was a really fun trip!

There is a new addition to the family. My sister Holly had her first baby on Monday August 25th. They named him Hayden. I was so excited for this little tike to come I have been counting the days and he is finally here and so handsome. I am so excited to be an aunt for the third time. I am so sad I couldnt be there to greet him. But I will see him in a few months. Congrats Holly and Dan on becoming parents!!! Babies are the greatest blessing from heavenly father and I hope someday (not for a while please) I will be blessed with one just as adorable as my sisters!

Raspberry days!!

This weekend my family and the in-laws joined in to make a trip up to bear lake for raspberry days! Dinner group friends also joined us in a few activities. We camped at the KOA which was really nice to have showers and flush toliets :) We got rained on pretty hard to nights but that didnt stop the fun. We went to the craft show and shopped me and Colleen got these really cute temple pictures (I'll have to post a picture later) and some jewelry and then we hit the water where we tubed on the "big mable" she was big!!! And wake boarded and beached it. It was really fun then we went to some friends land and did hobo dinner on the fire. Saturday we colored matching shirts at the KOA kinda ghetto shirts but a fun activity. Then off for more water ativities! Dinner we got pizza from bear lake pizza called old epharim it was the biggest pizza I have ever seen and very yummy!!! That night we went back to Dave and Vickis were we got an awesome game of Shang High going with close to twenty of us playing!!! It was so much fun and I came in third place (which is really good for me considering I also forget what hand we are on) Here are some pictures of our fun weekend!!!! Enjoy and comment!

On Saturday Me and Mike Colleen and Eli and his sister and her husband decided to take a little trip to Willard (they have a dog training area and pond) to let the dogs run and play. It was nice area for dogs and Tacoma and Oscar were just loving it. They swam, ran and chased each other and were just having a blast. After an hour or so and the dogs had dried off we decided to be done and started to walk back to the cars. And we walked by this swampy area of nasty green stinky gunk and Tacoma decided she was not done playing and jumped in. It was so funny and extremely disgusted. She will do anything to keep us on our toes that's for sure!!!

Saturday night we gave Lori a little going away party she officially leaves out of town next Monday!! We are so sad to see her go but she will do great and we are so happy for her amazing opportunity she gets to experience. Best of luck! And good news is I have another reason to take a vacation!!!! :) Here are a few pics from Saturday night!

Sunday was Velvets baby blessing! It was fun to get together with friends and their families that I grew up with. It is so fun to catch up tell stories and laugh. London is so cute and baby blessings are such a special thing, being able to use the priesthood to bless someones life in ways most needed to grow and excel in this life!!

Yesterday was my birthday. It was a really fun day! I went to work were Mike sent me my favorite flowers they are gorgeous. And when its your birthday my boss sends ya home two hours early which was really nice! Today is Eli birthday so Mike and Colleen gave us a surprise birthday party at fatcats. It was really fun we bowled and had pizza, cake and gifts! It was a really fun night and I actually broke a hundred bowling which is AMAZING i usually only get like 60 or so. Mike gave me an awesome ipod dock. Thanks guys for such a fun night love ya all!!

Quick trip

Me, Mike, Colleen, Eli and Corbin. Decided to make another little trip up to bear lake this last week end. This time planned. It was a fun day full of swimming, wake boarding ( really choppy water ) and beaching it. There were a few laughs to remember.... First things first my wonderful sweet clueless husband has issues with cells phone (mind you they don't come cheap) he has gone through four in like less then six months. So this last time I refused to fork out money to buy one so my friend gave him her old one. So we get up to bear lake we were out on the boat and Mike decides to be the first one to jump in so there he goes followed by Eli. After a quick swim they both get back in the boat when a look of shock comes over Mikes face..."Oops.." as he pulls a dripping wet cell phone out of his pocket... Chain reaction.."Oh No" from Eli as he pulls his remote start keys out of his pocket. All i can say is "Boys!!!" Luckily we got them taken apart to dry and they both now work. Corbin was so cute he refused to get in the water he only wanted to sit on the edge of the boat and stick his feet in. He kept saying I want to get feetsies warm ( Bear Lake is freezing so I don't know what this kid was thinking). And he kept telling mom to be careful on the wake board then next thing you know she had crashed super hard. Poor Keen she had a rough day she was freezing she had to put on my hoodie and lay in the sun. And she had this great idea to get a picture of the two of us jumping of the back of the boat backwards. So EJ gives one instruction to jump far enough out from the prop. So we jump and Colleen comes up and says I think I hit my toe on the prop. She couldn't obey one instruction. So she gets in and her toe is just bleeding pretty good and we couldn't find the first aid so we end up making this band aid wrap out of a towel it was so funny watching her walk around with that ugly thing on. We also went to bear lake pizza for the first time it was super yummy I suggest it to anyone who likes pizza. It was a really fun day to enjoy with people we love. Bear Lake is the best place to go for a quick trip it is so gorgeous and blue and farely clean compared to most lake around. And when your out on the water its so large you don't have to worry about other boats. I love it.

Adventures of Tacoma and Major

Against my best efforts Mike talked me into agreeing to baby or dog sit his good friends dog for four days..... BAD IDEA!!! Major Showed up at our house Sunday night. Tacoma was so excited they played and played ALL NIGHT they didnt sleep a wink. And.... I woke up to a disaster blanket in the middle of the yard one in three pieces, tree branches everywhere, fire wood in every corner of the yard, and two wholes in my grass. I was not happy! And to add to that I got up to got dressed for work and went out to clean up and BOOM to muddy dogs on top of me! Mud all down my outfit. In simple words I was not pleased. But I guess we asked for it putting two puppies together is asking for a disaster. Tacoma is only ten months an Major only about eight! To MUCH puppy for me thanks!! Days of boating!!! So I've been boating a few times this summer and I've done fairly well on the wake board considering that I did not grow up boating and doing much water sports! Saturday night we went to the lake it was a fun trip Brett and Missy brought Max along for his very first boat ride and Eric even came ( I was very excited...Its his boat and he never uses it ) Saturday I was doing really good wake boarding dispite the choppy water. My last turn I crashed so hard I finally understood the saying "like hitting cement" I came up dizzy with a instant headache. Monday we took some friends out and I was iffy about heading out again I was still hurting from Sat. Finally I got brave and got out and.... bad idea I couldnt get up. I was so frustrated and my head started pounding again. Oh well it was a fun trip!

Pops Concert

Sunday was the Pops Concert and fireworks up at the University. It is tradition that out of Lana and Rays Dinner group some one each year takes turns putting out blankets for all the families. This year it was me and Mikes turn. So many family and friends come I can't keep track of who is related to who. It was a fun night of card games treats and fireworks.
Corbin was so cute he was running around flirting with the little girls and was throwing glow sticks all over the place. He kept sitting next to Uncle Eric talking about the fireworks! He is my favorite!

Tuesday was the BIG 60 for Mom! It was a fun day with a BBQ at me and Mikes and cake and ice cream we decided that because it was her birthday she could have some cake and ice cream ( the ice cream was still sugar free ) I think she really enjoyed something different for a change. Fourth of July Weekend!!

This weekend was so fun. Full of family and friends I hadn't seen in a long time!
We started out the weekend on Thursday by having friends over to play games. You know when you are with true friends when you can sit around and do nothing and have the best time. On the fourth we did the traditions of breakfast with the ward in the morning and Corby got to tag along while Colleen and Eli ran the 5K (crazy driven kids) then of to the good old North Ogden Cherry days parade. Then a BBQ at Marilyn and Bobs where the whole family turned out it was a crazy fun event. Then we proceeded to the front yard were we watched the Weber High fireworks!!! Then Saturday it was a hot day for Tacoma out in the sun and the neighbors were out in their pool and you could just see the sadness in Tacoma's eyes so we went and got her a little pool of her own..... Embarrassing story we go to the store to buy the pool get to the car and boom it hits us how are we going to get the pool home its to big for the car. Mike the smarty that he his decides we are going to put it on top of the car and hold it down with not ropes but our hands on the drive home. I was so embarrassed I have never wanted to get home faster and as we pull in the driveway the neighbors are laughing at us. Anyway then that night it was Emily's birthday so we went to Tepanyaki's this was a first for me and Michael. And I am not coordinated at all and come to find out the chef makes you catch shrimp in your mouth. Ya he made me try FIVE times before I caught it. Tacoma... Tacoma where did you go! This is what the neighbors grand kids yell any time Tacoma isnt right at fence ready to play. Tacoma loves kids (though she is kinda big for most and knocks almost everyone down) The neighbor girls love her so much they love to play soccer down the fence line with her get in water fights when the day is really hott like here in the picture and they love to fatten her up even more by spoiling her with treats. She keeps us all on our toes and entertains us so well!

Saturday we went to our first fireworks of the summer season! I love fireworks!! It was so fun to get to together with family as we all gather together in my Aunt and Uncles yard and set up our blankets and share treats and stories!!! So last weekend we Mike and I decided we wanted to go boating. So we called up Colleen and Eli and they were totally up for it ( last boating trip Eli had to work ) So we headed out to the boat shop to pick up the boat. The trip was kinda delayed because the battery on the boat had died and Eric had sold the prop off the boat so we had to replace a few items then we were on our way up to the dam. and wow was it packed the marine was closed due to the dam being full. We were really bummed considering the work we went to, to get the boating going. So Eli the crazy son of gun he is decided we were going to Bear Lake despite Colleen efforts to turn us around. It was such a fun relaxing trip. The water was extremely cold but there was not a boat in sight. Corbin and Mike make the best boating buddies. Corby loves to help drive and honk the horn.

While we were packing up the boat. Tacoma jumped in she thought she was invited and was really disappointed when we had to leave her home!!

One Year!

Saturday was Michael and I's one year anniversary!!! Its crazy that is has already been one year. But at the same time I feel like we have always been together. I love him with all my heart and this year has been truly amazing. There has been tough times and complete bliss. I am so glad to have such a great eternal companion. That is willing to put up with all my crazy corks!!! :)

Can you believe it Chad at the dealership called this beauty a piece of junk? My baby, Hollys old baby a piece of junk? Ya sure it had a cracked windshield, cracked dashboard, no air conditioning, wouldn't run longer then 20 minutes at a time. But it got me to work and back. I am so thankful for the blessing I have had in my life. I have never had a car payment (until now) and have the best parents who have always made sure I had something to get me from place to place.

This is my new beauty Holly said I had to post about. I am really excited to have a reliable car. That could get me farther then 10 miles down the road. I am thankful for Colleen and Elijah for introducing me to Chad who worked so well with me and the "piece of junk" which he didnt want to trade in at all and was only wanting to give me $200 but worked with me and gave me $500 (corisca totally was not worth $500) Thanks to Holly and Daniel also for there helping me search dozens of web sites for the right car. We are so thankful for new car. :)

This is my friends Velvet and Seth's new little baby girl London. She is the most precious thing ever. I could not believe how beautiful she was. I am so happy for one of my very most best friends to have such a special blessing come into her life. Congratulations Velvet and Seth you'll make wonderful parents!

Pedicure? Yes please!!! I went and got my first pedicure yesterday. Oh my goodness it was wonderful. I think I might be addicted. Kayli and Brooke had to beg me to go. I just always thought why spend money on something I could just do myself? But no I can not do this my self. I got to sit in a massage chair while they massaged my feet, moisturized, scrubed, painted and just overall pampered my feet. I loved it. Thanks Kayli and Brooke for the fun girls trip to the salon!!

Chair Races

So who says work is no fun??? Okay most the times it isn't but there are those days when the sunshines and you can come together to do chair races in the shipping and receiving building!!! Heck yes! This was my first time participating in the chair races. And I can proudly say I did well. I would of won but my boss Nancy is a CHEATER and kicked my chair away from the finishing line right when I was about to kick her trash!! And dont worry I know my feet our disgusting. But at least mine werent the only ones covered in dirt. But it would of been kinda hard racing in stiletto hills.
